Much of the USA is covered in excellent loam soil, which is precisely what you should find under healthy turf/grass. If you live in an area of the USA without good loam, we offer PondGro Aquatic Loam Soil which you can add up to 40% sand to make the volume more once it arrives, but no higher than 40% sand, or the soil will not contain enough nutrients in the mix.
